BETHESDA. This extremely exclusive course is only average in length but still manages to pack a mighty punch. Greens are severely undulating and lead to a lot of three-putts if approach shots don't find the proper side of the hole. A former host site for the LPGA Tour's Mazda Tournament, this course is one that you will remember.

GLENWOOD. You'll enjoy how every hole on this course presents a different look and a unique test. Severe changes in elevation and play through a rock tunnel are just a few examples of what the course brings to the table. Located in a relatively secluded setting, you'll enjoy a relaxing round of golf on this refreshing course.

OWINGS MILLS. This hidden gem is popular among locals but is still seeking the national recognition it deserves. In immaculate condition, the course features well-mounded fairways that leave uneven lies for approach shots. With only a handful of water hazards in play, you should focus on tackling these extremely quick greens.

CHEVY CHASE. With only one par-5 on the course, you must rely on good iron play to tally birdies. Fairly flat fairways have only an occasional hazard or two, which means that you should move your attention to approach shots. Average-sized greens typically slope from back to front, so keep the ball below the hole to give yourself the best chance for a birdie.
